Restoration
What does a restoration cost?
There is no single answer to the question of what a restoration costs. It all depends on the standard of workmanship, the attention to detail and the materials chosen – upholstery, paint finish and replacement parts.

Classic cars have lived long lives, and over the years they may have had all sorts of ‘adventures’ that are not visible at first glance – hidden under a layer of paint or impossible to see without fully dismantling the car. Any initial estimates we give are therefore indicative only, in the form of a price range for each stage of the restoration.
Stages
We divide restorations into the following stages
- 01Dismantling the car and cleaning the body
- 02Panel repairs and primer protection
- 03Paintwork
- 04Engine and gearbox overhaul
- 05Mechanical and electrical repairs
- 06Refinishing components – zinc plating, chrome plating, painting
- 07Upholstery repair
- 08Reassembly
- 09Test drive and final tuning
The final price of each stage depends on the time spent on the car and is calculated by multiplying that time by our workshop's hourly labour rate.
Worth knowing
Two rules to bear in mind
- I
A car always looks better in photographs, and even worse after sandblasting.
- II
Even the simplest restoration can easily cost no less than PLN 60,000.
